Solutions for Every Industry

Whether you are an ITAD provider or an IT team retiring your own equipment, the job is the same: wipe the drive, check it, and keep the record.

IT Asset Disposition

ITAD Service Providers

Your clients expect certificates, your auditors expect records, and your technicians need to keep moving. IQValidate keeps one record for each drive and groups the certificates by work order.

  • Pick many drives in one job and wipe them together
  • Certificates with your own logo and details
  • Download all certificates for a work order as one ZIP
  • Records an R2 or NAID auditor may ask to see
Enterprise IT

Enterprise Organizations

Retiring devices in-house? IQValidate gives you one place for every location's wipe records, and a certificate you can attach to the asset ticket.

  • Several locations in one account
  • Connect to your own systems with the API and webhooks
  • Roles for different teams: Admin, Operator, Auditor, Viewer

Industry Notes

Every industry has its own rules. IQValidate gives you the records; you decide what your rules need.

Healthcare

Rules such as HIPAA expect you to keep a record that drives holding patient data were wiped or destroyed. An IQValidate certificate lists the drive serial number, the method, the check, the date and who ran it. Your organization decides whether that is enough for its HIPAA process.

Financial Services

Banks and credit unions are often asked by auditors to show proof that retired drives were wiped. IQValidate keeps a searchable record per serial number and can export it for your auditor.

Government & Defense

Agencies often follow NIST SP 800-88. IQValidate reports the level of each wipe (Clear for overwrites) and does not claim Purge for a software overwrite. If you have rules about where data may be stored, contact us first.

Education

When schools and universities retire devices, a certificate of erasure per drive shows that student data was wiped. Many drives can be wiped in one job, and a ZIP holds all the certificates.

Data Centers

Data Center Decommissioning

Decommissioning means many drives at once. Install the agent on several computers, start the wipes from the website, and watch each drive's progress in one place.

If a few drives fail, you can wipe just those again, and the certificates for the ones that passed are already available.

  • Several computers reporting to one dashboard
  • Live progress on every drive
  • Retry only the drives that failed
  • All certificates for the job as one ZIP
